Where Can You Visit from Amman?
Petra
For most travelers, Petra is the centerpiece of a trip to Jordan.
Walk through the Siq to the Treasury, then continue beyond Jordan’s most famous view to explore the Royal Tombs, ancient streets, temples and trails of the Nabataean city.
We recommend giving Petra a full day whenever your itinerary allows it.
Wadi Rum
Wadi Rum adds a completely different experience to a Jordan itinerary.
Explore the desert by 4×4, watch the landscape change around sunset and spend the night at a desert camp beneath some of Jordan’s clearest skies.
For most multi day tours, we recommend staying overnight rather than treating Wadi Rum as a quick photo stop.
Dead Sea
The Dead Sea works particularly well toward the end of an active Jordan itinerary.
Spend a few hours or a night at the lowest point on Earth, float in the salt rich water and relax after days of walking through Petra and exploring Wadi Rum.
Jerash
Located north of Amman, Jerash is one of the easiest major historical sites to combine with a stay in the capital.
Its colonnaded streets, plazas, theaters and temples offer a completely different look at Jordan’s history from the Nabataean monuments of Petra.
Madaba and Mount Nebo
Madaba and Mount Nebo can be incorporated naturally into many routes heading south from Amman.
Rather than treating transportation days as lost days, we can use the journey between destinations to include worthwhile stops along the way.
Aqaba
Travelers with longer itineraries can continue south to Aqaba for time on the Red Sea.
It works particularly well for trips of seven days or longer when you want to combine Jordan’s archaeological and desert experiences with a slower ending by the coast.
Private Jordan Tours from Amman
Our tours from Amman are designed as private trips rather than fixed itineraries where every traveler follows exactly the same schedule.
Your driver picks you up from your hotel or agreed location in Amman and travels with you according to your planned route.
This gives you more flexibility with departure times, stops and travel pace while removing the need to arrange a new taxi or transfer every time you change destinations.
Traveling as a couple, family, group or solo traveler?
We can adapt the vehicle and itinerary accordingly.
What Is Included?
Exact inclusions depend on the package you choose.
Depending on your itinerary, your tour can include:
Private transportation in an air conditioned vehicle
Pickup from your hotel or accommodation in Amman
English speaking driver
Accommodation
Wadi Rum desert camp
Wadi Rum jeep experience
Breakfast and selected meals
Airport pickup or drop off
Optional licensed local guides
Entrance arrangements where included in your selected package
Every package clearly lists its inclusions before booking, so you know what is covered and what you will need to arrange separately.
Where Can Your Tour Start?
You do not necessarily need to be staying in central Amman.
We can arrange pickup from hotels and accommodations around Amman as well as Queen Alia International Airport.
If you are arriving in Jordan and want to begin traveling immediately, we can also build your airport arrival directly into the itinerary.
Your tour also does not have to finish where it started.
Depending on your travel plans, we can arrange itineraries that finish in Amman, at Queen Alia International Airport, the Dead Sea, Petra or Aqaba.
Should You Take a Day Tour or Multi Day Tour from Amman?
That depends entirely on what you want to visit.
Jerash, Ajloun, Madaba, Mount Nebo and the Dead Sea work well as day trips from Amman.
Petra can also be visited as a long day trip if your schedule is limited.
Once you want to combine Petra with Wadi Rum, however, a multi day route usually makes much more sense.
Trying to visit Petra and Wadi Rum from Amman and return on the same day creates an extremely long itinerary. Spending the night in southern Jordan gives you more time at the destinations and considerably less time retracing the same road.
For travelers visiting several parts of Jordan, we generally recommend moving through the country as one continuous route.
Why Travel with Zoor Tours?
Zoor Tours is a local Jordanian tour operator based in Wadi Musa, Petra.
We build private Jordan trips around the traveler rather than forcing every traveler into the same itinerary.
That means we can help you decide not only what to visit, but also what makes sense to skip.
If you only have four days, we will not pretend you can comfortably experience ten destinations.
If you have ten days, we will not stretch a five day itinerary just to fill the calendar.
Our goal is to create a route that makes sense from the moment we pick you up in Amman until the moment your Jordan trip ends.

Yes. Airport pickup can be incorporated into your Jordan itinerary, including trips that continue directly toward destinations outside Amman.
How many days do I need for a Jordan tour from Amman?
Three days is enough for a fast trip covering several major highlights, but five to seven days gives most first time visitors a much better balance between sightseeing and travel time.

Can I visit Petra from Amman in one day?

Petra and Wadi Rum are commonly combined in multi day tours from Amman. We recommend at least two days for the combination rather than trying to visit both destinations and return to Amman in a single day.

Can I customize my Jordan tour?
Yes.
Tell us how many days you have, your arrival and departure details, who you are traveling with and the places you want to see.
We can then recommend a route or modify one of our existing packages.
Can my tour start in Amman and finish somewhere else?
Yes. Depending on your itinerary, your final drop off can be arranged in Amman, at the airport or at another destination in Jordan.
Do I need the Jordan Pass?
It depends on your nationality, length of stay and the attractions included in your itinerary.
If the Jordan Pass makes sense for your trip, we can tell you before arrival so you can purchase the appropriate option.
